[00:00:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Sean, thank you for joining me today on Pop Culture Unplugged.
[00:00:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for having me, Kyle.
[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a pleasure.
[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to have my friend Season 6 right around the corner.
[00:00:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll be dropping this interview on that day because we're going to be talking about spoilers
[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and I don't want...
[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of things happening this season, a lot of things happening.
[00:00:26] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of moving parts.
[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Last time we spoke, I want to bring this up.
[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Last time we spoke, you had no idea you were going to be part of this and
[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_01]: you wanted to be part of this.
[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Now that you are part of this, how does it feel for somebody like you to be part of this
[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_01]: project after all these years?
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I would say it's incredible.
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I've always joked that if I've had one really great talent in my career, it's the ability
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_00]: to catch onto coattails bigger than mine.
[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Whether it was being a part of General Hospital or Bold and the Beautiful Now, which is
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: the most watched daytime drama in the world and now Cobra Kai, which is pretty much
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: the most watched streaming show in the world.
[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I think because they announced that season six is going to be the final season, it's going
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: to have an epic amount of viewership.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Might even be historic and I'm just so honored to be a part of it.
[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't wait for everybody to see it.
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: If you go on Reddit or Facebook, everybody wants Mike Barnes.
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what's great about it.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_01]: What's your thoughts about this character?
[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He's gone through all these years and everything.
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: People, Karate Kippart three, you're the bad guy.
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But now it's like things have turned around for you, but the fans love you.
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_01]: The fans love this character.
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm completely flattered by it.
[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'll tell you this, if I had met Mike Barnes when I was 17, he was
[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_00]: spared the crap out of me.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: There wasn't a whole lot of redeemable qualities that he had.
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_00]: But when the big three brought me back, they gave Barnes a redemption arc.
[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And we were able to see a lot more layers and nuance to the character that didn't
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_00]: exist in Karate Kippart three.
[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that has only compounded the interest of the fans about who really is this guy.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's been fun for me to learn more about him as I've done Cobra Kai.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So in season six, we see you have a unique role in this season, I believe.
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I definitely have the baddest ass key in season six.
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, I have it on.
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll take a look at that.
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Is that great?
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, did you have any input on that key?
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I did have some input.
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I did actually.
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Frank Helmer, who was the Cobra Kai costume designer is a brilliant guy.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I had a little bit of input on it.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: We were trying to figure out what kind of patch would represent the martial arts
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that Mike studied and Shodakon was the first thing I ever studied.
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So what was Shodakon?
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Shodakon is also Japanese, as is Wamyagi does Okinawan.
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But what the Cobra Kai studied was Korean.
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So I like the fact that it was different than what the Cobra Kai studied.
[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I took one look at that thing.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And then when I realized that all the kids would be wearing white geez visually,
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I understood how important it was that he chose this key
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: that in a seat of white geez is going to stand out.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, wow, thank you so much.
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And it really does.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_01]: At one point, you're watching those scenes too and you're like,
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_01]: is Mike Barnes in charge of this?
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's what it cut.
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I've seen it so we can talk a little about that.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I like your role this season.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, like, I like how he's training.
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's kind of like training both dojos, but at the same time,
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, he's given a responsibility.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. And you know, I think this is it furthers Mike Barnes' redemption arc.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: He's hardened the kids, but he's fair.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And and I think that this is another way that without overtly saying,
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry to Daniel, he can say I'm sorry to Daniel and try and do something positive.
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, in my mind, you know, Mike Barnes is certainly not going to be paid for this.
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_00]: He's doing this because he feels this is a way that he can give back
[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: not only to Daniel, but to the kids.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, there was an ad lib.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_00]: What was an ad lib?
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I asked if we could add the line that, you know, when Mike says,
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, I blew my chance to go to the Sakai Taikai and look over at Daniel
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_00]: referencing, you know, his behavior at the All Valley and the ad lib.
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_00]: The change in line was I'm here to make sure that you don't do the same thing,
[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: something to do. And I thought that was important because,
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, I think here's a guy that has sort of lost everything.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And yet he still is getting back in touch with right in Rome
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and realizes he has an opportunity to make a positive impact on his kids.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: As an actor, when you're reading through scripts and everything,
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_01]: like when you were reading the script for this upcoming season,
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: what went through your mind?
[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Were you like, were you getting excited?
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you call the big three say you love it?
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to throw something else in there?
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Take something away?
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, well, what went through your mind?
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I was I mean, I was really excited.
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is this is something that I've been angling for a long time.
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I kept putting out there, you know, who better than my Barnes
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: to train the kids for the sky?
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Tyke, because he's a national champion.
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that great line actually made its way into the script where
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Johnny says, you know, I'm a champion, man.
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, yeah, of the valley.
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a national.
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I was so excited with it.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And as I was down there, it seemed like I was kind of getting
[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_00]: put in more and more scenes, even if I wasn't necessarily talking.
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, as an actor, I'm always looking to be impactful
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: in the story and create an arc for my character.
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I was really happy with it.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a lot of fun.
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it was, you know, there's a there's an awesome fight in it
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_00]: that I think a lot of people will see for quite a while.
[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think it disappoints.
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, my next set of questions were about that big fight of yours.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Like every throughout the seasons, you know, when you go on the forums,
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: they want to see a Barnes and Johnny fight.
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: We finally get to see one.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: What tells us about that?
[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Describe that whole that whole when you guys were filming that scene?
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, I adore Billy.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: He's he's great.
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I knew that.
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, I'll tell you the challenges of that scene were as follows.
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Billy had a ton of stuff that he had to do for the show, much more than I did.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, having the opportunity to actually rehearse with Billy a lot
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: was challenging, which was all the more reason that I had to really kind of be on my game.
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_00]: My challenge was that I have a full and complete
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_00]: tear of my super spinatus in my rotator cuff and I'm having surgery
[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_00]: this having circle.
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll have had it by the time this airs on having surgery
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: on the 11th.
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So they told me, the doctor, he said, look,
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_00]: if you think you're going to do Cobra Kai and at this point,
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I hadn't been asked back for season six.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I just was planning as if he said, there's no way you'll be able to do it.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And so I put the surgery off and was able to, you know, get through the fight scene.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: But when I was done, it came back to LA.
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It was it was just evident that I had to have the surgery.
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I put it off, but I have to have it now.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So that was a challenge.
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I think from a character point of view,
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Johnny and Johnny and Barnes don't hate each other at all.
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_00]: No matter the fact, they like and respect each other.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they're kind of cut from the same mold.
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I think with Barnes, he lost everything.
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's just like, I need to know that I could still cowboy up.
[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, it almost doesn't matter if I win.
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think I'm going to win.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But if I don't, I need to know that, you know,
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: 35 years later as a guy that's, you know, kind of been making furniture
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: and now lost everything that that a push comes to shove
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: that I still can draw on the bad boy when I have to.
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And I like the fact that after the physical confrontation is over,
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_00]: you can see that these guys, they respect each other.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They do.
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And people are going to be talking about this fight years to come.
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I think when they go back to revisiting the karate kid, Kober Kair.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I hope so.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that would be the honor that they were talking about it.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Who do you think won the fight?
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I got to put you on the spot.
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, who do I think won the fight?
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Johnny won the fight.
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's no doubt about that.
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I think Barnes definitely got some shots in.
[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I think, you know, I think Barnes did pretty well.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, we only got to go at it one time
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_00]: because it's the final season.
[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, I have to I have to bow my head in respect to
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_00]: since it was no.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Would you know, they've talked about all these possible spin offs or everything.
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Would you be on board from like Barnes?
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God.
[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So I put this thing out on on social as a joke about,
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, chosen and Barnes being like two cops.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I, too, a detective sensei's in the valley,
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, trying to solve crimes and,
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and, you know, navigate the over 50 dating scene without much luck.
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're the roommates like the odd couple, you know, maybe
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_00]: chosen to complete slab and Barnes is like a meat freak.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think there's a lot of comedic energy.
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I put it out as a joke and people like love this idea.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So she's like, yeah, I'd be I'd be head over heels to do some kind
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_00]: of a spin off if that came to fruition.
[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know like now Cobra Kai is a broken
[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: to like three different parts for the upcoming last part.
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. Are we going to see you again?
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you tease anything?
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you say anything?
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot say.
[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot comment on that.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, you just you just got to draw your own conclusions
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_00]: from the first Tron should episodes that comes out on July 18.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're the way they're dragging it.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, I watched the first first five
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: and now I'm like, now I got to wait till November.
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, yeah.
[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's but you know, what are you going to do?
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. That's how the shows get you.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_01]: That's how the shows get you.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, it gives people time to watch the other seasons
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_00]: if they they haven't gotten caught up.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I think it's going to be a part of.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Television history.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think this has the potential
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: to be the biggest streaming event so far because it's,
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, in three different blocks.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And because it's been announced as the final season,
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just I'm just really honored to be a part of it.
[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_01]: How would you say like, you know,
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: you mentioned you're working with Billy and everything
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_01]: even being on screen again with the Ralph?
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Like how do you describe that chemistry
[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_01]: between all three of you?
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I describe it as.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Being comfortable.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that we've worked together enough
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_00]: to trust each other.
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a deep respect for both of them as actors.
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: They're collaborative.
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They're, you know, professional, great at what they do.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And we had a lot of fun doing it.
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was a fantastic work experience.
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Definitely.
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Overall, like, you know, like with Mike Barnes, everything
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: like how do you like, you know, like.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's going to remember you as Mike Barnes.
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel connected with this character?
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's really funny you say that because I just
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: watched that Andrew McCarthy documentary about love that.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It was awesome.
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I really liked it and I've always been a fan
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: of Andrew McCarthy's and I wasn't aware that
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: the moniker Brat Pack represented something
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: so pejorative and negative for a lot of them.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And like everybody, I figured, oh, God,
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_00]: they're just all best friends and hang out and find out that.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So but I said to my wife, I said, you know,
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I can really relate to this on a smaller level.
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, obviously, you know, I didn't experience
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_00]: that kind of manic fame that they did.
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But my point was, I think there was a point in my life
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_00]: where I very easily could have said, wow, am I going
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_00]: to be Mike Barnes for the rest of my life and put
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: a negative spin on it?
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm a firm believer and I talk about this in my books
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: and my coaching and my speaking.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's really important, the story that you attach
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00]: to the experience of life and I attached a great story to it.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, first of all, you know, I had the whole thing
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: around this lost my life film in Karate Kid 3
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: and the fact that I made it through that.
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Karate Kid 3 will always have an important place in my life.
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, playing Mike Barnes has introduced me
[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: to people all over the world.
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It's provided me with the opportunity to come back
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and be a part of this series.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think I would be foolish to be anything
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00]: but grateful for it.
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So I've always had a positive attachment.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, by the same token, I've also gone on and done
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: an immense amount of work beyond my Barnes.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But I think even if I never did that,
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I would probably choose to look at it in a positive way.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And I certainly do now.
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Amazing, amazing.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So we have Cobra Kai season six, July 18th, you know,
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_01]: obviously we're going to see Mike Barnes at it.
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Anything else you could tease about us or give us an
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: on you got like you say, you got the surgery coming up
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but like, do you see?
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm in my 24th year on the Bold and the Beautiful.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: 24th year since I started,
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm still on the Bold and Beautiful for CBS.
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: My show Studio City, which is an Emmy award winning
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: limited series is now on Roku, 2B, Voodoo,
[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: the Dub Channel and Amazon Prime.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And if people haven't seen it, I really, really,
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, appeal to you to watch it because it's
[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_00]: it's a terrific, terrific show.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's been my baby for years.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Going to be starting a new show that I'm going to be doing.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a timber in Vegas called Unsuited, which is
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: about the World Poker.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm very excited about that and going to have my new book,
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: which is the third installment of the Way to Cobra series
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: called Cobra Couples that I'm co-authoring with my wife, Michelle.
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_00]: That'll be out at the end of the summer.
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And gosh, what else?
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I've got two other projects that are going to be happening this year.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm doing a TED talk in October.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is you busy busy busy here, man.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I like it that way. You know, I think you stand in trouble.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Amazing. What about any stand?
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Any more stand up coming up your way?
[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I'm definitely going to put some more stand up stuff together.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just just a function of finding time to do everything, you know?
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is, it's doing everything and doing it well.
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And to go back to Cobra Kai, I really respect the big three
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: for deciding to go out on top.
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I mean, they they certainly could have done this
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_00]: for another couple years.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, the audience wouldn't decline.
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The probably the reviews would have diminished in their praise,
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_00]: but they could have made a lot of money.
[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I just feel like if you're going to do something,
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: do it the absolute best you can do it or don't do it.
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And and that's how I feel about my career.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And I know that's how they feel about Cobra Kai.
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, again, just to go back to it,
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: that's why I'm so excited for everyone to see this final season
