[00:00:00] Bruce Lee
[00:00:09] Lucy Justin Thank you all for joining me today on Press Day. Thank you
[00:00:14] Thank You Congrats on the greatest hits I watched it the other night
[00:00:17] Who doesn't love first of all who doesn't love a good time-travel movie?
[00:00:24] We have Harriet and David in the movie
[00:00:27] Lucy first of all
[00:00:28] What attracted to you to the role of Harriet and how to prepare to play a character like this with the whole time travel music
[00:00:33] Um, so much of it was the time travel element.
[00:00:37] I'm such a nostalgic person that I think I've kind of fantasized about this, like the what
[00:00:42] if you could go back would you change anything?
[00:00:44] And I loved the way this film I think looked at it from a new stance and looked at these
[00:00:50] two beautiful love stories from a new angle that felt kind of still very gritty and
[00:00:55] grounded and so much through the lens of grief which I thought was just deeply
[00:01:02] moving and I really understood Harriet's journey through grief and um and yeah
[00:01:07] there was just there were so many elements all packaged into this one film
[00:01:10] that I felt would be really relatable because it definitely pulled me in so
[00:01:14] I was just really excited to dive right into the deep end with her.
[00:01:18] Justin how would you say David's role fits into Harriet's journey?
[00:01:25] We're discovering like her going back in time music also.
[00:01:29] Yeah I think David encounters Harriet in grief group because he's obviously
[00:01:33] grieving as well. He's lost his parents and I think they share this sort of
[00:01:38] intimate vulnerable connection through their shared grief and through
[00:01:43] spending time together sort of blossoms into this beautiful relationship and I
[00:01:47] think they both really need each other at this time to sort of not linger
[00:01:51] too too long in the past but see each other in the present.
[00:01:56] What do you both hope when the viewers tune in to watch this film? What are you hoping they get out of this?
[00:02:01] Lucy we'll start with you. I mean I hope it just makes them feel a lot it
[00:02:07] really like triggered a lot of emotions and you know you project your own
[00:02:10] experience onto films like this so I hope it's a catalyst for thought but
[00:02:15] I think ultimately it's just a really beautiful piece of escapism so I
[00:02:19] hope it just is a is that for 90 minutes. David? I would I mean I echo Lucy's sentiments
[00:02:27] I mean I just want audience to have a good time to get lost in the music to get
[00:02:34] lost in this romance yeah I think this this film reminds me of films that I
[00:02:41] used to love to watch growing up so I hope it also brings a little bit of
[00:02:45] that nostalgia factor as well. Last question for both of you with the whole
[00:02:50] time traveler everything if there's one specific song right now that you could
[00:02:54] listen to to travel back in time what would it be? I gotta put you on the spot.
[00:02:57] Oh man I would go to I'd go to Whitney I want to dance with somebody because it
[00:03:07] takes me back to being like 12 years old in my best friend's garden playing
[00:03:10] that at full volume despite the neighbors and it's just joy and you.
[00:03:15] And I would go to my middle school angsty emo years with the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.
[00:03:24] Lucy adjusted I want to thank you for giving me a steady on press day and good luck with the film press.
[00:03:31] Thank you so much. Thank you. Have a great day.
