[00:00:00] , Elias Giannakopoulos
[00:00:34] .
[00:00:35] We had to watch the first part of Season 3 and now we're at the part 2.
[00:00:39] Let's start with, you know, like the way Season 3 has unraveled so far, you know, with the
[00:00:44] whole Chucky in the White House and everything.
[00:00:48] Like, what's your insights on like on your character now, Devon, with how intense and
[00:00:54] unexpected is he in this situation now into Season 3?
[00:00:59] Dude, it's wild.
[00:01:00] I mean, like, you know, the first part, you know, we were kind of just got into
[00:01:04] the White House, kind of just started our master plan.
[00:01:07] And now we're basically in and now, you know, like, you know, like, Alexi has, you know,
[00:01:13] you know, hanging out with, you know, with Grant a lot, you know, and then we're entering
[00:01:16] the building.
[00:01:17] So I think our plan is coming to fruition, but it is, it is a little bit nerve wracking,
[00:01:19] I think, because, you know, it's like, what is there?
[00:01:22] Like, what is going to happen?
[00:01:23] You know, what's Chucky's up there?
[00:01:24] Well, what is he up to in the White House?
[00:01:26] What is he doing?
[00:01:27] And yeah, it's like, like, how stressed out should we be for this right now?
[00:01:31] Right.
[00:01:32] I mean, I can't give out too many spoilers or anything, but when you were reading the script
[00:01:35] while you were filming this, what was going through your mind?
[00:01:37] Dude, I can't say much, but I was surprised.
[00:01:44] I was surprised.
[00:01:45] There you go.
[00:01:47] What kind of challenges do you think Devin faces like dealing with, like, you know,
[00:01:53] dealing with Chucky and also balancing, balancing, like pressures of like a romantic relationship
[00:01:58] and growing up at the same time too?
[00:02:00] Dude, I think it's like a hyper, like, hyper-realized, like, idea of like puberty and
[00:02:08] so on and growing up.
[00:02:09] It's like, you know, I think like young people always have that kind of issue about fitting
[00:02:12] in and kind of working all their things they want to do, you know, maybe like going
[00:02:15] to like college or whatever.
[00:02:16] But, you know, Devin, instead of going to college or doing that, he's trying
[00:02:19] to not die and also trying to like have his relationship with his boyfriend work.
[00:02:23] And I think those are two pretty big issues he has to tackle.
[00:02:29] So far, I think he's doing a good job.
[00:02:31] I think maybe not so much in the killing Chucky part, but hopefully, yeah, let's see what happens.
[00:02:38] I know we got you a few minutes ago, no spoilers, everything, but and I mentioned
[00:02:41] about you reading the script, but like when you're reading about your character,
[00:02:44] were you like, oh, yeah, let's go.
[00:02:45] Let's go like you want to jump on the set to do this?
[00:02:49] Yeah, I was, yeah, I mean, I was really excited to like shoot some of those
[00:02:52] scenes, like there's some really fun stuff in the episodes coming out soon.
[00:02:57] And actually, there's some really fun stuff with that.
[00:02:58] I'm really excited for you to see those those episodes.
[00:03:03] We also see throughout the season, too, you know, like Tiffany's storylines
[00:03:06] unfolding with the police closing, you know, the murderous rampage
[00:03:10] that she went through for your character and like other characters.
[00:03:14] How does this like looming crisis?
[00:03:16] Like how does it like do?
[00:03:17] How does it deal with your characters?
[00:03:19] Yeah, I think it's kind of like, you know, the show is having these
[00:03:23] two storylines happen and at some point they're going to converge,
[00:03:25] right? They have to because it's the build up.
[00:03:28] And then that's kind of this person, you know, like, you know,
[00:03:30] like Jennifer is doing her whole thing.
[00:03:32] She's it's her home Joe, right?
[00:03:34] Honestly, that whole thing is pretty good.
[00:03:36] And I'm like, how was that going to tie into back to like the kid storyline?
[00:03:40] Like, how was it? What's going to happen?
[00:03:42] Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I think I don't think Devon really knows
[00:03:45] what's happening in that. So honestly, I think Devon's pretty careful.
[00:03:49] I think Devon thinks that never till he's done.
[00:03:51] But I'm guessing when when he finally sees her again,
[00:03:54] he's going to be like, Oh, no, God, what happened?
[00:03:57] Right. What about the Devon and Jake's relationship too?
[00:04:00] You know, there's like a high tension, dangers happening, you know, like
[00:04:04] what can you tell us about that?
[00:04:08] You know, I mean, I guess, you know, that big moment in Episode Five,
[00:04:11] you know, came out, obviously, that was a great moment for us as a couple.
[00:04:15] And especially, you know, later, there's going to be some challenges
[00:04:19] that come in that I don't know.
[00:04:21] I think it really gets interesting people to see.
[00:04:23] And I can't really say much because they're all spoilers, but it's like,
[00:04:26] right? I mean, like, you know, I mean, like if you like that scene,
[00:04:29] you're going to really love what's happening because it's really going
[00:04:31] to bring a relationship, you know, some challenges in there is going to happen.
[00:04:36] And I think it's going to be really fun for the watch.
[00:04:38] So three seasons in how do you how would you describe
[00:04:41] like the friendship between Devon, Jake and Lexi throughout these three seasons?
[00:04:47] Yeah, I mean, honestly, at this point, we're basically like friends in real life.
[00:04:52] I mean, I think we got along really well, really fast.
[00:04:56] So I think it's really easy to like kind of turn that real friendship
[00:04:59] into the you know, into the show and have, you know, Lexi, Devon and Jake
[00:05:02] also be friends to translate that together.
[00:05:05] And honestly, this the set is just so fun and so great.
[00:05:08] Everyone on there is awesome.
[00:05:09] So it's really easy to kind of just like go into that the energy
[00:05:12] and kind of like it doesn't even feel like work at some point.
[00:05:14] It just feels like I'm having fun with friends.
[00:05:17] That's really important in this kind of show.
[00:05:20] What I like about your character, too, you know, like he did a lot of research
[00:05:24] on the history of Chucky and the voodoo magic and like,
[00:05:28] how do you think he understands Chucky's past to inform
[00:05:32] like the decisions that's going to happen in the future?
[00:05:34] Yeah, I mean, I like to say that Devon is the only character
[00:05:38] who knows how to use Google in the whole show.
[00:05:40] But I'm like, I feel like a lot of these issues would be solved with Google shirts.
[00:05:44] And I think, you know, Devon has another knowledge,
[00:05:47] you know, about his story, about his backstory and, you know, about Charlie Ray and stuff.
[00:05:51] So I think he's able to use that really well.
[00:05:55] I mean, I think the show has.
[00:05:57] Has used it a lot, especially season two, you know, where he goes on this whole thing.
[00:06:01] It's kidnapped that season two, right? Where Devon gets kidnapped.
[00:06:04] Yeah, that happens, you know, and then I think that's all from his research.
[00:06:07] And, you know, now he's studying voodoo and spirits and stuff.
[00:06:10] And I mean, I think it's I think Devon's having a little bit of fun,
[00:06:14] you know, like he thinks having fun exploring all this like lore and stuff.
[00:06:17] So I think that his enthusiasm is going to keep him going.
[00:06:20] And I think, yeah, fun.
[00:06:23] I don't know. What do you think sets season three
[00:06:26] like in the high standards compared to season one and two?
[00:06:30] Honestly, I think each season it gets bigger and bigger.
[00:06:33] I mean, I think season one was pretty at this point now looking back,
[00:06:36] it seems kind of simple a little bit.
[00:06:37] Season one, it's simple.
[00:06:40] And now like season three, it's like the White House.
[00:06:42] There's like weird paranormal stuff going on.
[00:06:45] It's like it's crazy.
[00:06:46] It's and it's going to keep getting bigger and bigger.
[00:06:48] It's wild, man. It's wild.
[00:06:51] Yeah, it feels like, you know, with season one was like a little,
[00:06:53] you know, wasn't too crazy.
[00:06:53] And I was like, season three is like more intense, I feel like.
[00:06:56] Yeah, for sure.
[00:06:58] So, you know, your character, you know, he's been growing
[00:07:01] also through these three seasons.
[00:07:02] Like how do you approach like playing this character with like the
[00:07:06] you know, you've got like emotions and the reactions of like
[00:07:09] suspenseful scenes like how do you how do you prepare yourself
[00:07:12] for these roles for this role?
[00:07:14] I guess for me, I was kind of nervous because I feel like
[00:07:17] in the acting wise, like my season one performance wasn't that good
[00:07:22] because I think I'm like I'm still working on my ability as an actor.
[00:07:27] And I think I think I was able to tap into more like things in my brain
[00:07:32] to kind of get there better.
[00:07:34] And I think I've improved a lot.
[00:07:37] And I think, you know, me and Don have talked about the character
[00:07:39] and I think he's added a bit more aspects of myself into him.
[00:07:42] And I think like, you know, because Devon has gone a bit more funny
[00:07:43] year, a bit more, you know, like throughout the season,
[00:07:46] without each season.
[00:07:47] And I think, yeah, I mean, I think working with Don and kind of working on myself,
[00:07:51] I think is putting out to making Devon a pretty good character.
[00:07:54] And I think he's getting better and better.
[00:07:57] You know, Chuck, you know, Chuck has been here for almost 30 years out there.
[00:08:02] Chuck, you know, it's got a huge fan base.
[00:08:04] Like how do you feel like being part of the franchise?
[00:08:07] And, you know, there's like this passion of fans out there
[00:08:10] and like, like what do you hope for when they tune into watch a series?
[00:08:14] What do you like? Tell us a little bit about that.
[00:08:16] I mean, I think it's mentioned for like the like the die hard fans.
[00:08:20] I mean, you know, obviously, you know, I think they're there to tune in
[00:08:24] for Chuckie and for, you know, the continuation of that lore.
[00:08:28] And I think, you know, the introduction, the introduction of our
[00:08:31] character is kind of adds a bit of freshness to it.
[00:08:34] And I think so then, you know, so then the fans aren't just like,
[00:08:36] oh, it's another is more of the same.
[00:08:37] I think it adds more depth and everything.
[00:08:40] And I think, honestly, it's really cool.
[00:08:42] Like like every season and every time I see like things about this show,
[00:08:45] I'm like, wait, this is so is this show is kind of like big a little
[00:08:48] with people like love Chuckie.
[00:08:49] I always forget that.
[00:08:50] Like I go to places and I see people.
[00:08:52] I see people wearing chunky shirts out normally.
[00:08:54] It's like crazy.
[00:08:55] I'm like, I'm always like, dang, this show is like huge a little bit.
[00:08:57] The Chuckie is like an icon and it's kind of cool just being a part of that.
[00:09:01] Why are you filming the series?
[00:09:02] Like, you know, with the director out there or the writers?
[00:09:05] Do you ever like talk to them?
[00:09:07] They ever talked to you?
[00:09:08] It's like, hey, is there a certain way you want to play a scene?
[00:09:11] Do you have any idea how we should do this?
[00:09:13] Do they ever talk to you about stuff like that?
[00:09:15] Yeah. I mean, I think there's a there's a really good amount of
[00:09:20] collaboration and work.
[00:09:22] I think, you know, you know, most of most of the directors
[00:09:25] we kind of sit down and kind of talk about the scene before we do it
[00:09:28] and kind of decide what's going to happen.
[00:09:29] We know sometimes most of the director kind of has a good idea
[00:09:32] of what to do it.
[00:09:33] And usually maybe like someone has like, oh, maybe just try this
[00:09:35] to try some of this and, you know, it was really open for experimentation.
[00:09:39] So I think that kind of is, you know, gets like a better product
[00:09:43] because the actor gets input in and then they can feel good about being
[00:09:45] in for them. They could put better work out, you know?
[00:09:49] Yeah, I don't know.
[00:09:49] I think it's a bit of a hybrid of everyone's kind of working together.
[00:09:53] What's your favorite thing about Devin?
[00:09:57] Hey, that's hard. I don't know.
[00:10:00] I used to like, yeah, dang.
[00:10:02] I think I like Devin because I think he's, you know,
[00:10:06] he's he's hopeful, I think in the show.
[00:10:10] I mean, you know, Jake, you know, started kind of losing hope a little bit.
[00:10:14] But I think season two, he kind of brought that back.
[00:10:16] But I think, you know, Jake and Lexi are having their, you know,
[00:10:19] their own drama, you know, Lexi is looking for a sister.
[00:10:22] Jake's kind of just figuring out what the while he's trying to do.
[00:10:25] And I think Devin is kind of almost that light in the group.
[00:10:28] You know, he like he keeps everyone kind of grounded
[00:10:31] and keeps everyone like from tipping over the edge.
[00:10:33] I think he's I like the aspect of I like how he keeps everyone kind of centered.
[00:10:38] And I don't know, I think it brings good energy to the group.
[00:10:42] And I think that's what I like about him.
[00:10:44] Would you say he's the leader of the group?
[00:10:46] Not the leader, but I think he's like the he's like the therapist to the group.
[00:10:49] You know, I don't know.
[00:10:50] He's like the guy who's like, hey, you know, maybe like it seems you never see.
[00:10:53] But like, you know, maybe they sit down to talk about what's happening and get personal.
[00:10:56] Because I think, you know, Jake is the leader.
[00:10:57] I mean, he's the guy who's like, he's the ringleader.
[00:10:59] He's like, let's do this. Let's go.
[00:11:00] I think they're just kind of make sure everyone is OK.
[00:11:04] And like, let's keep going.
[00:11:07] Have the writers said anything to you about like, do they have
[00:11:09] store they have stories that they think about like that they have more
[00:11:13] seasons they can do? Have they said anything to you guys?
[00:11:15] Not really, I don't know.
[00:11:17] I mean, I, you know, sometimes Don has a lot of ideas.
[00:11:22] Writers to to I mean, not really, I don't know.
[00:11:24] I don't really know much about that.
[00:11:26] I just kind of see what happens when they make the script.
[00:11:28] Would you ever want to see a spin off of Devon?
[00:11:31] That'd be fun.
[00:11:32] Oh, I want to learn a nice little like Devon solo story that would kind of fun.
[00:11:37] Like he goes off and then Chucky follows him or something like a 1920s noir
[00:11:41] like style, no special.
[00:11:46] Yeah. Overall, what's been your experience like working on Chucky?
[00:11:50] It's been great. I mean, I think it's
[00:11:52] I was lucky enough to have that like that should be my first kind of big
[00:11:55] project and, you know, it was just so like I don't like this.
[00:11:59] There's nothing really like bad to say about it.
[00:12:01] Like it's all just awesome.
[00:12:03] And yeah, I'm lucky enough to have that be my first show.
[00:12:05] And it's yeah, I mean, let's keep it going guys.
[00:12:08] Let's keep it going.
[00:12:09] How many episodes are we expecting for the part two?
[00:12:12] I think it's what I think.
[00:12:14] Oh, I think it was an episode season.
[00:12:16] So first four and then next four.
[00:12:17] So is there a specific episode
[00:12:21] you were excited about this season three?
[00:12:25] Season three part two.
[00:12:26] I'm excited for I think the next episode.
[00:12:29] Excited for that one in the last one, too.
[00:12:31] I'm people are going to like the last one.
[00:12:33] Amazing. Amazing.
[00:12:35] What's next for you?
[00:12:36] Any other projects you're allowed to tell us about that you got coming out
[00:12:38] and working on there?
[00:12:39] You know, I've just been I've been doing my own thing, personal stuff.
[00:12:43] Amazing. Yeah.
[00:12:44] How can the Chucky fans find you on social media?
[00:12:46] How can they keep up with you?
[00:12:47] OK, they can find me at Bjorgven underscore earners on Instagram.
[00:12:51] It's the one that's the verification market.
[00:12:53] I don't know.
[00:12:55] I guess I'm on Twitter, but I don't use Twitter,
[00:12:56] so don't follow me on Twitter. I don't use that.
[00:12:58] And yeah, I may lay you Instagram and,
[00:13:01] you know, check out my I am BD if you think if you.
[00:13:04] I don't know.
[00:13:05] Is Bjorgven I want to thank you again for coming back on the show.
[00:13:08] Hopefully we get a season four.
[00:13:09] We get your back on. We continue on this chat.
[00:13:12] Yes, thank you. Yes, let's keep it going.
[00:13:14] Keep it going.
