Cash Flo — known to wrestling fans as a powerhouse in the ring and to Tulsa King fans as Bigfoot — returns to Pop Culture Unplugged to talk about Season 3 of the hit Paramount+ series. As part of Dwight “The General” Manfredi’s crew, Bigfoot has quickly become a fan-favorite character thanks to his mysterious presence and loyalty to Stallone’s lead.
In this conversation, Cash reflects on Bigfoot’s evolution, working with Sylvester Stallone, and what he’s learned from stepping into the world of acting full-time.
“It feels wonderful... I’m proud to be a part of it.”
Cash couldn’t hide his excitement when talking about returning for another season.
“It feels wonderful. A character like Bigfoot brings something different to the show. I’m glad to be a part of it — it’s the biggest show in the world right now. Working with guys like Sylvester Stallone? What more could you want?”
He went on to praise the cast and crew, saying Tulsa King’s success is a result of “everybody’s hard work behind the scenes” and the leadership of showrunner Terry Winter, who’s back in the writers’ room for the upcoming season.
The Mystery of Bigfoot
Fans have been asking for more backstory on Bigfoot, and Cash admitted that mystery is part of the fun.
“Sometimes mystery garners interest,” he said. “You don’t always need to reveal everything. Maybe there’s a reason they keep certain things hidden about him. That’s part of what makes Bigfoot interesting.”
He teased that Season 3 will explore new sides of his character:
“You’ll definitely see a different side of him. Maybe some callbacks to Kentucky… maybe some things he’s done before. Good or bad, we’ll see.”
On Working with Sylvester Stallone
Cash had nothing but praise for Stallone, calling him a mentor and creative guide.
“I bounce anything and everything I can off Sly,” he said. “He’s a wealth of knowledge. There’s that old cliche — he’s forgotten more than I’ll ever learn — and it’s true. He went from nothing to being one of the biggest stars in the world. Any time I have an idea, I run it by him.”
Wrestling Roots and Stunt Work
While Cash has taken a step back from wrestling to focus on acting, he still brings that same energy to his on-screen work.
“I’m doing whatever stunts they need me to do,” he laughed. “They’re hard-pressed to find a stunt double for me. I guess that’s not a bad thing.”
He added that his wrestling background helps him stay grounded during intense scenes, giving him the confidence to “take chances” and trust his instincts in front of the camera.
Lessons Learned and Future Hopes
Reflecting on his journey through three seasons, Cash emphasized teamwork and growth:
“To truly make good, captivating television, it takes an army. Everybody has to work together. The public sees a few faces, but it takes a whole village to make a show like this happen.”
And if Tulsa King ever decides to give Bigfoot his own spinoff? Cash has ideas.
“I’d love a supernatural angle — maybe Bigfoot: Monster Hunter or something like that. I’m a big horror and sci-fi guy, so that’d be a blast.”
What’s Next
With Tulsa King already renewed for Season 4, Cash is excited to keep building Bigfoot’s story and growing as an actor.
“You never stop learning,” he said. “Whether it’s from Sly, the directors, or my castmates — I’m soaking it all in.”
