On the Joy of Voiceover Work
“Voiceover work is so fun. I love doing animation—it’s a whole different ballgame,” Ariel said with a smile. She explained how liberating it felt to explore performance in a new medium, where every emotion comes through voice alone.
Relating to Sabrina’s Strength
Sabrina is curious, strong, and fiercely loyal to her family—traits Ariel deeply identifies with.
“I connected a lot with Sabrina. I’ve experienced many of the same feelings she has, and I even have an older sister who has been my Sabrina at times,” Ariel shared.

“I thought it was so fun to play the sarcasm in her character. She’s strong-willed, smart, capable, and sarcastic. Those are all things I’ve had to be at points in my life.”
Why Families Will Connect to the Series

“Who doesn’t love a little fantasy and a little drama? But it’s also about themes and messages that are really important. That’s part of why I wanted to be a part of this project.”

“Sabrina and Daphne are essentially foster kids, and being able to bring visibility to them in this way is really important. It’s about fighting for the family you have—and kids and parents alike will connect with that.”
Creating Her Own Version of Sabrina
Although the series is based on the beloved book series, Ariel wanted to make Sabrina her own.
“I did a little research, but I’m the type of person who wants to create my own character. I want to do my own thing while still being in the ballpark of what we’re going for.”
What Mystery Would Ariel and Sabrina Solve?
When asked what kind of mystery she’d like to solve with Sabrina, Ariel laughed:
“I love a mystery—I don’t even know if I could pick! We’d be a great little duo, and with Daphne too, we’d get a lot done.”
